LOL!! This guy is absolutly correct!! and people rarely want to hear the truth?…having said that, it’s easier said then done. I have a family, a mortgage, healthcare, insurance out the wazoo!! I’m too “ingrained in the system” trying to raise my children and send them through school (even though that’s like…the biggest joke) but what am I gona do?…I gotta hang in there a little longer until My hubby and I are no longer legally responsible for our two children

Money = effort… each bank note or figure stored on a computer is evidence of past efforts or borrowd, a promise of effort. Gold and any other material, product etc are all the result of effort. Look around and see who those are putting in the ‘real’ effort. They ancient egyptians were paid for their effort in spiritual promises, housing and food. How are you paid? how are others paid? what effort do you excert? more importantly, what do others exert? balanced, is it?
@wobbers99 US…We walked away from our mortgage too last year. Not quite at a year yet, but I feel liberated and peaceful. The years before that I lived under a high sense of stress and almost imprisoned feeling. I second your comment, its easier than you think. Guts indeed, but are you really willing to die there is what you have to ask yourself. I was not. I will die by my terms, not a banks. Cheers.

I haven’t paid my Mortgage in the UK for 6 months. Fortunately for me, I did some basic Mortgage forensics.
It doesn’t look good for them.
It takes guts, but you will find it is easier than you think to stop direct debits and get to the crux of the matter with your Mortgage “financier”.
